We work with all ages and demographics, including special populations, and those with digestive, neural, or developmental conditions, as well as those in need of physical or emotional injury rehabilitation.

 

Every session is a blend of myofascial release, structural integration, gentle visceral, neural and cranial osteopathic techniques (similar to craniosacral therapy), Reiki, Toyohari meridian therapy, and a unique way of approaching the Five Elements of Asian medical theory, with treatment theories developed by founder, Nicole Keane, MS LMT.

Nicole Keane, MS LMT

Founder 

Nicole is the creator behind The elementalAdvanced Method, and five class online manual therapy curriculum,

Elemental Manual Meridian Theory and Techniques (EMMT), as well as author and illustrator of the book: 'The Tao of the Polyvagal Theory: A Five Element Perspective for a Future of Healing the Spirit and Balancing the Autonomic Nervous System.'

 

She has over 20 years of experience of study around the World with some of the best mentors and colleagues in anatomy, physiology, systems theory; as well as myofascial, visceral, and neural mobilization techniques, from an osteopathic style of manual therapy.

Having grown up in her grandfathers pharmacy, and coming from a lineage of many pharmacists and nutritional healers, she had an awareness at an early age of the power of energy as medicine; the illness that can be caused by the stress and toxicity of modern life; and the gravity of the current healthcare system in America, with its grip on the healing process through the institutionalized management of symptoms. 

 

In addition to her current client practice, teaching, and clinical research, she is a regular contributor of leading edge articles for Acupuncture Today through a column called, 'Minding the Gap.' These articles serve as a bridge from the historical "power-over" paradigm theories of classical Eastern medical theory and modern Western medical practice; toward a future of a supportive, lifting, and transformative focus on balance within the whole, integrated being.
