White River Falls, Oregon

White River Falls State Park is a truly magical place. The high desert ecosystem in this small canyon includes towering bushes of silver sage, ponderosa pine, snakes, and lizards abound! The falls cascade into a series of pools that are good for wading and swimming on a hot day. Bird rookeries along the basalt columns provide cinematic excitement, backed up by the sound of the rushing waters.
